Rebecca Huber, M.S

Counselor

Rebecca Huber has a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is working toward licensure under clinical supervision by Dr. Frank Scott, LPC/MHSP. Rebecca joined AGAPE in May 2023 as a counselor at the main office and as the domestic violence counselor for Morning Star Sanctuary. She has also worked as a master’s-level counselor at a recovery center for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders with a focus on 12-Step recovery where she served as a primary counselor and the faith-based program coordinator.

Rebecca received her bachelor’s degree in clinical science in 1994 and her master’s degree in physical therapy in 1995 from Ithaca College. In addition to working in healthcare, Rebecca has served as a vocal and performance coach. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lipscomb University in 2017.

Rebecca’s counseling style is to provide support in whatever situation draws clients to counseling services and to assist clients in growth toward their personal goals. Her clinical experience and interests are in counseling adults and teens regarding concerns such as grief, anxiety, sadness/depression, trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, boundaries in relationships, work/life balance, anger, addictions, and spiritual issues. She is particularly experienced in facilitating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), faith-based interventions, and guided imagery meditations to promote emotional healing. She sees outpatient clients at the main office in Nashville.
