Meg Embody, MMFT, LMFT joined AGAPE in October 2018. Meg is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist. She received her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. Meg has a heart for counseling children though she has experience working with adolescents, families, couples and individual adults. Meg believes it is her calling to walk alongside clients who are dealing with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, marital conflict, parenting concerns, abuse, adoption and life transitions. Meg strives to create a safe place where clients are able to explore their strengths as she joins them on their journey and helps breathe hope and healing into hard places. She is a certified Level I Theraplay therapist, trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for children and adults and uses trauma-focused counseling.
