Shanna Shilling, LMSW
Director of Domestic Violence Programs
Shanna began her work with AGAPE as Residential Supervisor with the Morning Star Sanctuary Domestic Violence Shelter in April 2019. Now serving as Director of Domestic Violence Programs, she oversees AGAPE's Morning Star Sanctuary Shelter and Court Advocacy Services. Shanna is a Licensed Master Social Worker, holding both Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Science in Social Work degrees. Shanna’s work experience includes serving as Regional Program Director of psychiatric rehabilitation programming for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness; as Forensic Social Worker with the city of Nashville, and in management of several area addiction recovery programs for women and families. Shanna enjoys her work with AGAPE/Morning Star because it allows her the opportunity to promote education and healing for survivors as they seek to build safe and fulfilling lives.
