Ami Parker, MMFT

Director of Social Services

Ami Parker joined AGAPE in September 2019 as the Director of Social Services. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. Ami’s previous experience includes working as a Family/Crisis Counselor at Youth Villages; as the County Program Director at The Family Center; as the Teen Screen Site Coordinator; as a Mental Health Consultant with the Vanderbilt Center of Excellence; and as the Deputy Regional Administrator for the Department of Children’s Services in the Davidson Region. When asked why she is passionate about her work at AGAPE, Ami says, “The foster care system is overburdened, understaffed and devoid of hope for children in the system.  In my work with AGAPE, we are able to serve these children’s basic needs as well as show the love and eternal hope of Jesus.”
