Anxiety Isn’t Who You Are

Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 5:00 pm

About the Event

You’re not malfunctioning.
You’re not broken.
And you are absolutely not alone.

Anxiety Isn’t Who You Are is an 8-week group counseling experience designed to help you break free from cycles of fear, avoidance, and overthinking. Together, we'll learn practical strategies that help you respond differently to anxiety, OCD, and depression—so they no longer dictate your decisions, relationships, and daily life.

What to Expect

We meet each Tuesday for one hour over eight weeks. This is more than a discussion group. Each session builds on the last, combining education, practical exercises, and group support to help you create lasting change.

What You'll Learn

Throughout the group, you'll learn how to:

  • Identify the thought patterns and beliefs that keep anxiety in control
  • Recognize behaviors that unintentionally strengthen anxiety over time
  • Respond to anxious thoughts and feelings in healthier, more effective ways
  • Face fears gradually and intentionally instead of avoiding them
  • Build a life guided by your values, goals, and purpose—not by fear

By the end of the eight weeks, you'll have practical tools, a deeper understanding of how anxiety works, and a clear path forward for living with greater confidence and freedom.
