Lacie Haynes

Board Member

Lacie Haynes is a passionate advocate for children and families impacted by the foster care system. She and her husband, Clint, have been married for 11 years and live in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, in the very home where Lacie grew up. Together, they have three children: Quincy, their 23-year-old adopted son, and their younger children, Oliver (6) and Elsie (4).

Nine years ago, the Haynes family opened their hearts and home as foster parents and have since cared for 13 children. Their final placement, Quincy, entered their lives as a 17-year-old and later became their son through adoption.

Out of this lived experience, Lacie helped launch Open Homes, a ministry of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ focused on foster parent recruitment, wraparound support for foster and adoptive families, parenting classes for birth families, and more. Through practical, emotional, and spiritual care meals, childcare, prayer, and community, Open Homes seeks to be a faithful presence to families navigating the foster care journey. The ministry also extends support to the teenage boys at Lebanon Academy, a nearby group home, by helping identify homes for boys ready to step down and offering mentorship and intentional outreach to help them grow into strong, faith-filled young men.

Lacie has a deep love for the Church and believes that selfless, Christ-centered love has the power to change lives. She is passionate about equipping the Church to be the hands and feet of Jesus, especially to vulnerable children and families who need it most.

Lacie is honored to serve on the Board of Directors at AGAPE and is committed to supporting its mission of reflecting Christ’s love to the vulnerable through excellent counseling and family support services.
