Shounika Nelson

Shounika Nelson is a resident of Murfreesboro, TN, where she lives with her husband, Demetrius and their two children, Alexis and Aiden. The Nelson family attends the Carmack Boulevard Church of Christ in Columbia, where Demetrius serves as the minister. Shounika’ s academic journey led her to the University of Alabama-Huntsville (UAH), where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. During her time at UAH, she was a member of the women’s basketball team, balancing sports and academics with grace and determination. Professionally, Shounika is the Senior Director of Accounting Projects at GEODIS, a leading logistics and supply chain company located in Brentwood. In her role, she leverages her expertise to drive financial excellence and project success within the organization. Beyond her professional commitments, Shounika is passionate about serving others and gives back to her community by leading various ministries at her church. She also holds leadership positions on several non-profit boards in the area, where she works to make a positive impact. In her spare time, Shounika cherishes family vacations and creating lasting memories with her loved ones
